Dr. Douglas Clark

Dr. Douglas Clark is the newest member of the Southwest Radiation Oncology group. He is a native of the Pacific Northwest and graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with honors. He majored in biophysics and art history and thus practices a very scientific yet compassionate approach to medicine.

Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Washington School of Medicine where he met his wife Dr. Shu-Ming Wang. She practices family medicine in the north Oklahoma City area.

Dr. Clark treats a wide range of cancers but is especially fascinated by new modalities such as radiosurgery as he believes such innovation holds great promise in eradicating the tyranny of cancer.

In addition to authoring or co-authoring a number of papers and grants, Dr. Clark has also presented at national meetings and conferences. His pastimes and interests include art, exercise, wine appreciation, and savoring the great outdoors.
